I really wouldn't know, Scylla, but Valerie on the cam chat conveyed the Poole Project's thoughts that it was a woodlark. And I've found Poole's tweet
Birdie's DU Summaries 2018 https://www.imagicat.com/
That tweet is about a different visitor to the perch. Someone said a bird that flew last the perch but didn't land was a Merlin and posted a video. Always confusing when lots of comments about different pictures.
Scyllas video is a different one.
I thought Spotted Flycatcher at first, but it could be a wood lark. Its not the best image
Thank you, SHEILA, for looking that up

Why the heck can't they fix the quote function?
Thank you, RICHARD. I googled Skylark at the time, just couldn't think of the right word! I obviously missed the flypast altogether but I won't beat myself up over it - and as for the picture quality, lack of, I know you're not blaming me for it, Richard, I did my best to clarify it a bit. Cropping feels obligatory when the little birds are on the perch but it only emphasises the dearth of pixels
Compensation - 022 turned up with his usual half-fish, but disappointingly CJ7 didn't come for it, but she probably flew over - he waited nearly 15 minutes for her

Nightjar was back
Just the one appearance not long before daycam:
Wood Pigeon - one on perch, one flyaround to campost, I think, and one zip-by:
It got windier after that, no-one else seen up to noon.
Generally a dismal day. This Crow mysteriously chose to spend about 45 minutes on and around the nest, and I've forgotten the time:
Tonight it's windy and there's been some horizontal rain.
Thought you were going to say you'd forgotten his name Scylla ......
Anyway, I appreciate your efforts here, Thank you
Oh WOW! Gorgeous Buzzard was harassed by a Crow on the nest yesterday:
