Beautiful female, Rutland's CJ7:
The hoped-for partner for CJ7, local male LS7, has not yet appeared. CJ has been tending the nest daily and yesterday she took everyone by surprise, producing an egg - which took us by surprise by surviving... until midnight at least ;)
A new resident:
We had a very chatty Magpie on the perch/nest this morning, but the wind masked its voice - I've done me best with the sound! And then, briefly, a Robin No singing, as far as I could detect.
It rained heavily - I was going to stick 10 seconds on the end of the video but discovered that it jerked along in picture and sound, it doesn't take much to upset this cam:
A short visit by a lone raven
It cawed a couple of times, but I was too slow to catch it!
And now another heavy shower

Ha! I forgot to say that the Ravens had visited a lot during the morning, at least 4 times.

Yesterday afternoon, two people! Is the area not out-of-bounds now?

That's all up to 3 hours ago.

Scylla these two people look very similar to the two who passed by the nest early in the season. Did you do that video too (I can’t remember)
