On 1 July, chick 1 is 30 days old. Chick 2, from egg 3, is 27 days old.
Apart from the sad failure-to-hatch of egg 2 , everything has been reasonably settled on the nest, and Louis is in the running for Mary's 'Fisherman of the Year Award'.

Birdies LG DU update.
This must be the fish I think that TRYING has mentioned
Aila now feeding herself froom it as chicks watch
C WT Loch Arkaig
I kept thinking that Aila was being disturbed by (probably) the Tawny but it always turned out to be a restless chick.
It's been a wet and insecty night.
She rested here for a while before flyabout:
The insects are so much more impressive in a movie, never mind:
After a flyabout, see how her children adore her (when they're not attacking ;) ):
Some of us do like to see healthy poops, it shows everything's working as it should:
The rain stopped well before daycam.
See the development in my wingtips :o
FISH as reported by TRYING - unable to get a good view, it was a shadow in the air:
Grand finale :-*
Then it started raining again.

You captured the 6 o'clock fish, PATILY, which was a whole nearly-whopper I forgot to include it in catchup.
One of the chicks picked it up briefly and proved it wasn't headless:
Only #2 wanted to eat, then it was lovely to see Aila have as many juicy bites as she wanted :)
Thought I'd better post a snap of morning yoga. I'm away skiving for a week or so and not sure if I'll be able to contribute bar lurking and liking from afar.
