The season so far:
33(11) and Maya both arrived back within hours of each other on the 22nd March. Maya surprised us this year by laying four eggs on the 4th, 7th, 10th and 13th April. Currently both adults are taking turns to incubate the eggs which are expected to hatch in the second/third week in May.

LOL ... Maya shoves 33 of the eggs
33 flies off and Maya settles down and no doubt she'll get that hay wrapped about her :-)

Camera still obscured by mist or whatever?
Birdies LG DU update.
Morning all. Thanks for earlier updates/captures.
What a horrible looking morning it is and as for the cams, can hardly see a thing!
It was the same earlier .. I had a quick look at before heading out with Dee. Maya looked agitated and then 33 brought in a fish at 5.30am!! Maya flew off with it. It was misty then but not as bad as just now.
But main thing is they have both had breakfast ... 33 is fishing very early just now.
And a few moments ago, 33 checked the eggs
Maya returned, 33 flew off and she took over incubating
Still miserable here. I think it is Maya incubating
Unusual for the camera to stay misted like this for so long Karen?
