The season so far:
33(11) and Maya both arrived back within hours of each other on the 22nd March. Maya surprised us this year by laying four eggs on the 4th, 7th, 10th and 13th April. Currently both adults are taking turns to incubate the eggs which are expected to hatch in the second/third week in May.

Fantastic news, TIGER, thanks! I can't help a twinge of regret that offspring are not recognised, let alone welcomed - but that's how it has to be, they move on :)
IMAGICAT
This is the best news so far. Fantastic.
The night cam on and view of the eggs, Is it a crack or a piece of grass?

Yes, Tiger, 'Sod off' is right! I remember the expression on the face of the returning youngster on the Kielder nest 1A (that may have been 2-year old UV if I remember rightly) and his Mum and 4 younger siblings were there, all acting not very friendly. He looked puzzled and disappointed that Mum did not recognise him. (50p for that, going by the fee at Dyfi) But despite all of that, I still love it when the returnee visits Mum and Dad!
Kind regards, Ann
Maya has another look and turns them

I've been thru several more egg-turning sessions - sometimes they all pipping, what with bits of straw and wrinkles in the video ;) But I don't think we have anything yet.
Clutching at straws ;)
No pip yet then Scylla! Or do you think that is one where circled.... maybe will see better when daycam comes on.
