I have just had a look at Sanibel cam and I see an Osprey has arrived. No idea who it is - is it Ripply from last year or a new bird. I remember last year finding a facebook/blog page about this nest but for the life of me can't remember what it was so can't compare images from last season, so if anyone else can remember......
Thank you scylla, a lovely video with the hay.

Whoever this new guy is, he seems to be bonding with Belle. Fingers and toes crossed! We'll have cramp in no time at all, trying to bring luck to this nest.
IMAGICAT
When I logged on at 0630hr local time Belle was already on the nest waiting, and eventually the male arrived.
They have since had 2 sessions, the second time the male brought a twig and Belle made way and stood on the rim, like she did yesterday.
This is the female's favourite perch, so far:
Far less mantling today:
The male has been gone for quite a while so I'm hoping he'll bring a fish... but there's no-one on the nest to receive it at the mo.
Our male also did a brief nestcupping this morning :-D That nest is rock solid with a few scraps on top.
Scylla, thank you for the updates. By the time I get in from work I never see a bird on the nest. Hopefully I might catch a glimpse at the weekend. Looks like they have been busy on the nest materials - looks quite comfy
Could someone please put the link on for the Osprey cam. I get a page saying hoping to have the camera working and please check back. Thank you.
Maureen you can get the Sanibel cam on Earthcam.
Here's the Earthcam link to the Sanibel nest:

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Thank you very much Lowry and Clare.
