I have just had a look at Sanibel cam and I see an Osprey has arrived. No idea who it is - is it Ripply from last year or a new bird. I remember last year finding a facebook/blog page about this nest but for the life of me can't remember what it was so can't compare images from last season, so if anyone else can remember......
Looks like it's raining.

No there has been no comments, I really don't think they know anything at all.
Thanks Starling, I can't understand why the mods don't know anything. What is their purpose when they have no info or knowledge of the situation.
Can't decide whether or not I wish Nellie would take the risk and go fishing. Can't see any help coming today. Whilst Nellie can survive without for a day or so I don't think the two chicks can, they are already scrawny little things
I'm really worried, the chat is too light hearted and mod provides nothing in the way of information at all except the standard message they have been repeating all day.
Unfortunately its like me being a mod at LG - sitting miles away with no view other then webcam and no real experience of raptors and their habits. All they say is we have no knowledge of a third party providing food buts let's just enjoy it, if you question, then their stock answer is that children read the chat.
Poor Nellie decides there is nothing to do but brood her little chicks
Oh no, what a come-down from the good news on the previous page :'( I'm very shocked that there is no information.

Hi scylla, the chat over on that site is a joke, they are all so happy thinking it's all good fun.
Got this info from Hancock Wildlife foundation site
