I have just had a look at Sanibel cam and I see an Osprey has arrived. No idea who it is - is it Ripply from last year or a new bird. I remember last year finding a facebook/blog page about this nest but for the life of me can't remember what it was so can't compare images from last season, so if anyone else can remember......
Thank you for the link re: fish delivery of a different kind Tiger. How long was it after Odin went missing that the team decided to deliver the fish? plus EJ's reaction on her return to the nest.
Thank you VC Does that mean 5 known nests in Wales now?

It seems like it was about 27 hours when they decided to supply the fish. See blog of 3 June 2009
and then Odin is back

Thank you Tiger for the link, will check it out now.
Fish man not been too obliging today, one fish fillet only Nellie calling and calling. Hope someone delivers something edible soon.
Nellie brings in a huge branch stick. Stands on the kids a bit and tries to move stick. Probably not where she wants it but it will give her something to do until supper arrives
Nel and Tag give her a good talking to. They have been woken up and have rendered that they are hungry
Tag bites Nellie's tail and in turn Nel decides to bite Tag. They are all clearly hungry, not such a happy situation today. I hope the publicity has not had an adverse affect on the decision to provide food to this little family.
Ok don't think I can watch much longer tonight as I find this so sad. They are all starving and chicks calling non stop. Nellie keeps tapping their little heads with her beak when they stop. Very sad.
I'm watching Lmac, I hate the way we get very little information on whether the provision of fish is to continue or not.
