Just wanted to say how wonderful a day my sons and I had at Lake Vyrnwy today. We arrived at 11.00 and took part in the Easter scavenger hunt. Had dinner watching the siskins in the hide, also saw chaffinch, goldfinch and coal tits. We then went to the lambing sheds and had a great time including seeing a lamb being delivered, and ended up with a burger at the bbq at the RSPB shop. Hasten to add the boys would not eat the lamb burger after their hands on experience earlier in the day.
All in all a great day out and we did not manage to get to in a single trail, or see the Peregrines, so that is a guaranteed days activity in the summer holidays already sorted.
