Our thanks to Andrew for the tip on where to see Harriers after our visit to the Shop to renew our membership for my Son's birthday. We think we saw a couple of them but not 100% sure. However, we definitely saw Whinchats and possibly heard Stonechats there, Grey Wagtails on the Afon Nadroeda, Spotted Flycatcher on the field fence at the Bala road crossroads opposite the Centenary Hide, Common Sandpipers crossing the road by the layby next to Nant Llwynynn (photo attached), four Swifts above the Sculpture Park and then later at least six above the shop at closing time. The 'usual suspects' from the Coed y Capel hide including Nuthatch and Greater Spotted Woodpecker. A great day despite the soaking, will be corresponding soon to organise some volunteering. The Saunders Family.
