I wasn’t quite sure where to post this question, but does anyone know how to get from Sheffield to Old Moor using public transport? I don’t mind if I have to walk a little way! Any suggestions would be a great help!
Thanks so much, I dont know why I didnt think to look on their website! Too much water on the brain! Thanks again
Had a quick look, and one option is a train to either Wombwell or Swinton (takes between 18 and 24 minutes, direct) and from either of those stations take bus route 200, there's a stop near the reserve entrance. Timetable for the buses here: www.travelsouthyorkshire.com/.../56.htm.

Maybe better going to Barnsley and getting a bus from there

Thank you all for your suggestions, its been a big help x
Hi Two for Joy and welcome. I regularly travel to Old Moor by public transport, and, as others have said the choice is either from Swinton or Wombwell. In both cases the bus stops are just outside the station - you can't miss them and it's 200 to Cortonwood from Swinton and 200 to Mexborough from Wombwell. As far as access by public transport is concerned Old Moor must be about the one of the easiest to get to.
