Had a good 45 mins with beardies yesterday. Firstly a male which was creeping along from the reedbed hide towards the reedbed screen, followed by a group of us creeping humans. So hard to see in the reeds. Then it flew over the bridge and I picked it up again along with a female feeding on the seed heads and taking no notice of us at all. Fiendishly hard to photograph in the reeds and poor light. Tried both manual and auto focus with the wrong camera and lens - too heavy to hand hold really but I stuck with it until my arm dropped off. No prize winners and lots of beardie bums but it was great.
Very nice captures Wildbeast, BTs are a hard bird to get in the reeds and on day like you had you did well getting them.
