Ok, I've had a scout around and found more than I bargained for! Starting with the duck, native American and bear by the gate, hiding in a nook about a metre from the bear is this little chap(pess) ... newt?
There are 2 bats in the courtyard, too high for me to photo with my phone, also one in the workyard
next to a bird
Close by is a hand and circles
By the drive from the workyard to the staff car park is a wall with a cornucopia of wildlife!
Another bear and I think a pig
A blobby thing and a hedgehog.
A decapitated duck I think.
A smiling snake?
Newt?
An otter with fish? and something else decapitated.
Frog.
Caterpillar.
Snail and mole.
Grumpy cat with ladybird.
Boot
Hand
Thingy ... any guesses?
Spider and web.
Mushrooms?
Rabbit I think. I was having to fight my way through the undergrowth to get this, so this was the best I could see it!
Spider or louse?!
That's it! Mind you the wall on the other side of the driveway is so tightly covered in ivy we couldn't get to see it! We did manage to dig out another boot but what else is there will have to remain a mystery.
By the way I did manage to find the pig snout Liane, but not the ear!
Wow. Top work there Derek! Okay, so now it's clearly more than just a few bits and there's got to be a story behind this collection. Stone masonry apprentice pieces perhaps...
This is getting very intriguing! Can't wait for the full story to unfold. :-)
Great work Derek, could the "thingy" be shearing shears? just a guess
Ear it is :) [my thanks go to Liane for the tip and the pun!]
And here's the pig's snout found in a very appropriate venue :)
And last of all, from me, a tiny snail.
