It is great to see the burgeoning of more and increasing variation of species at old moor.There is tte firm establishing of a resident bittern family. Added value comes from the spread of all wildlife and the attraction of higher level species for predation.Old moor is getting to be a species significant site.

    It is pretty life afirming to know that an area that was classed as the most polluted in Western Europe can recover to become one of such biodiversity.

    We have made an effort to try and record the variety of life that we have here. Still some notable gaps (anyone like mosses and lichens?!) but the list is just short of 2,000 species at present.
