Today whilst at Old Moor, I met a guy again, who I think needs a bit of a mention!
I could sense that this guy has a genuine love for wildlife and especially Old Moor. This camouflaged figure walked into the Garden Hide with bucket of feed n seed. He also altered a few feeders and made a few new clearways for the photographers.
He loaded up every feeder and every tree crevice and then later appeared in the hide himself. The Mystery man was "Pikinpirate1" (Flickr), AKA Ian Butler.
He pointed out all the hotspots for the birds especially the Sparrowhawk and whilst juggling my coffee, sure enough "Alf" turned up! Due to Ian I managed to get some real decent shots today.
A true gent, who is willing and eager to pass on his OM Knowledge.
