Come along to Holme Cultram Abbey, Abbeytown for Medieval cookery demonstrations by local celebrity chef, John Crouch, on Sunday 20th July. John will be telling us about the foods eaten by the monks at the Abbey and cooking up some examples. While you are there why not have a look at the archaeological dig in the field next to the Abbey or even join in and see what you can find.
Cookery demonstrations are at 12pm and 2pm.
This has been organised as part of the National Festival of Archaeology 2014 by the Solway Wetlands Landscape Partnership Scheme.
