West Cumbria Archaeological Society’s final talk of the season will be at Wigton Market Hall on Friday 7 April (7.30pm) when we are excited to have Miranda Aldhouse-Green coming to speak on Bog Bodies: Ancient murder, punishment or sacrifice. 
 
Ms Aldhouse-Green is a Professor Emeritus at Cardiff University.  Among her books are Dying for the Gods: Human Sacrifice in Iron Age and Roman Europe, 2001 and Bog Bodies Uncovered, 2015.  She has also appeared in numerous archaeology programmes on television.
