Hello All,
Apologies if you have received this message already- but we have an exciting new volunteer project about to start: Traditional Farm Buildings on the Solway- and we are looking for interested volunteers to carry out the surveys. You don’t need any previous experience and We’ll train you up and be on hand during the surveys with all the help you need. It’s an opportunity to:
Your Role
• You’ll be working in pairs or groups to complete brief building surveys.
• You’ll receive full training and be backed-up by professional support.
• The surveys are straightforward and owners will be notified in advance.
• Most surveying will take place between June and October 2016. You’ll need to be able to take photos with a digital camera and be able to use a map.
• No experience is necessary but an interest in historic buildings and farmsteads would be an advantage.
