Orphan visitor to my webcam'd box

Hello I'm Chris and new to all this. For the second year running we have welcomed throughout the winter a tit to our box fitted with a webcam. He/she arrives at dusk and departs at dawn, every day until the very early spring. The box is clean. After last year's visitations had concluded, prospective nesters 'reccied' the nestbox but didn't stay. (The previous year we had twelve eggs all of which hatched successfully so there's nothing wrong with the site.)  We're wondering whether the orphan visitor is putting off a nesting pair or whether this is a coincidence?
