It seems my camera nest box is going to be used for a nest at long last, after continuous roosting. I caught who I think is Mrs. Bluey doing very strange things - bringing in nesting material then a lot of movement and wing flapping. She did this several times before exhausting herself and falling asleep in the corner! She stayed in the box all night. Bless her cotton socks. She has been doing the same again today, but not a lot of nesting material as yet.
I caught her on VIDEO last night if anyone wants a peek - it's only short so not too boring!
Cheers, Linda.

That's great, Sparrow. She's left it very late but she looks as though she means business now.
I'm celebrating too. Mine started building towards the end of Feb and has only just laid. Here's my thread in case you missed it. I'm feeling quite paternal. Pity I'm going to be away for a week.

Thanks everyone. I still can't contain my excitement!
Thanks TJ for pointing me in the direction of your thread - your video is so beautiful to watch. Like you, I'm away from the weekend after Easter for a week and don't want to miss out on anything.
She is a bit late, and I'd given up hope of a nest, but hey! it clearly is never too late!! Maybe one of them lost a mate and had to start over, or maybe they lost their original nest, or maybe they are just late starters.
Great news Sparrow. I can't wait for your videos of all those little mouths being fed.
Ah, lovely! I think she's doing 'hollowing out the nest cup' shuffles, a bit prematurely but it will help to shape the materials to her body when she's got a bit more stuff in there :)

Hi Sparrow
Congratulations on your success and thanks for posting the video, I really must consider doing the same myself next year and link that to a live feed instead of the one showing my feeders.

Thanks everyone,
After some more activity this morning, neither of them has visited the box at all until dusk, when one of them arrived and settled down for the night. I hope this isn't a false alarm!!
Shane - a camera nest box is brilliant. Best birdie thing I've ever bought.
Judi - the ladders may have to come out again - hubby has put the camera above the hole instead of facing it, so the puictures aren't in full colour!
