I purchased the RSPB (£100 +) nestbox before I saw the better priced Aldi ones on the forum :-(
I was surprised that the RSPB nestbox is not treated with wood preservative. The advice is included which recommends painting with a non toxic preservative; does anyone have a brand suitable for this that doesnt harm the birds.
Many thanks
