Hi, Mrs GP set some Teasles around the gardens ,hopefullly to attract the birds ,and the bees ,well we have had loads of bees ,and other insects coming onto the flowering heads and are awaiting the birds when the seeds start to show.
Now these things have gone mad well over 6 foot high ,and a massive width ,and they have spikes and thorns that relly dig deep into the shin when you have to stack the and tie them back to keep them from falling over onto the paths and grass.
Regards Mick
Work is for those people that don't Bird-watch!!!!
They are fabulous but ouch, vicious beasts. Once the heads have finished leave them on and sprinkle with Niger seed.
