This year there are now only a few blossoms on the fruit trees in my garden.
During the mild spell in March, the trees came into flower bud but they were promptly nipped by frost a couple of weeks later. Even the grape vine in the greenhouse has been affected with many of the new shoots now dropping off.
Think there will be a poor fruit harvest come the autumn. It has been a very unusual spring.

Yes, strange weather - very topsy-turvy. Things are not germinating on my allotment now that the average temperature has dropped. In fact much of it is now waterlogged. We have had a months rainfall in the last 48 hours here in mid-Kent. I suspect many other other places will record similar totals once the present storms clear.
