OK, they're indoor plants, and thus not much use to wildlife. But my cleaner keeps giving me plants both for indoors and out, and I don't want to offend her on any account.
She has told me to do something with these two, but a) I have no idea what they are, and b) I have therefore no idea what to do. I could fiddle but I suspect that would not be a good thing. Help please?

Hi
The top one looks like a Begonia, the one that has the big blousey flowers .
the other looks like a Fushia ,

Spot on Val, you beat me to it!
bye for now
Ok. Got the begonia, thank you. Fairly certain the other one's not a fuchsia, but
The leaves look bang on for a fuchsia of some kind, bear in mind there are literally hundreds of hybrid fuchsias out there with various combinations of flower and foliage types.
All will be revealed when it flowers!

I fear for the fuchsia looking one. The winter may have done for it. the other remains, however. It started to thrive, once I found and squished the lurking slug.
