I have a very old azalea which I had done nothing to for over 25 years. On advice, I cut it bavk quite hard a year past November and I had a much nicer plant this last summer. However, I meant to tidy up the shape a bit this November past but was thwarted by a massive downfall of snow.
Can I do anything about it now, or should I leave it till next November?

Hi there
Yes cut it back soon - but be careful not to do it during or before a cold snap as frost can get into the plant where you have cut and cause a lot of damage.

well I think it hit -5 last night, so I'll maybe wait and see....
