Which flowers, please?

Hello Clare, I'm no flower expert but would tend to agree with your first flower ID as a wild flax. The second flower looks like its growing through nettles? if you can see the leaves it might be a wild geranium otherwise I'm not sure.

Hi Clare, I agree with Tony with Flax for the first and geranium for the 2nd which could be something like Endressii Pink Cranesbill

Out of curiosity (no dead cats were involved) I used Google Lens on Clare's photos. It agreed with your ID for the first photo as Flax. However, for the second photo it came up with Pink Wood Sorrel which is a type of Oxalis. Now, I'm no expert on flowers but it might be worth checking out because to my untutored eye it looked a pretty good match. You might need to look at the leaves Clare.

I've been quite impressed by Google Lens on identifying things not just flowers. All this artificial intelligence is beyond me but then I haven't got much of it - normal or artificial. LOL

Well found Tony,  I wasn't totally sure so good to know what it is.     Thanks for your research.   

I use google lens quite often, Tony, and although I think it's a very good tool, to me it seems to err towards US species quite often, perhaps unsurprisingly!

Thanks for the additional photos, Clare. From the leaves I would say that it confirms it as Pink Sorrel (Oxalis articulata). Although it's not native I think it's very pretty and not a threat to native species.

The leaves confirm Tonys first suggestion, the leaves have it!
