Thanks for your help doggie. my question is this. As my runner beans flower, the flowers are dropping off before beans form. I have grown them for many years and have fed and watered them regularly. They don't look as if they have been bitten off. Any ideas anyone? Thanks
isn't wild wonderful
Hi Min,yes it is the hot dry weather that is doing it and after the last few days some beans are now forming, spraying them with water in late evening does seem to help slightly but perhaps another year I will grow them in pots earlier then set them out after frosts have passed in the hope that some beans will have set before the really hot dry weather comes.
