2022 YEAR LIST - here we go again:

New year - new blank list:

We started early- team of 4 and did a  traditional Jan 1st route  around the NW corner of Norfolk

8 1/2 hours and a  Chinese takeaway later it was 100 spp ,

The weather and wind direction were against us and some staked out regulars let us down - but it was better than last years !

Best birds were SEO, Tree Sparrow, Great Northern Diver , Black Necked Grebe, Cattle Egret, Bullfinch, Nuthatch, Marsh Tit.

  • Sounds like a great start to the year Seymour, due to a bit of a flare up with my Crohns Disease we never got to make a start until yesterday afternoon only to find that both the local hunt and a shoot had been in the area of our local reserve. Birds understandably were a bir thin on the ground but we did manage 40 as some birds were heading in to roost.
