I can see two Snipe but there may be more for all I know. They are the masters of camouflage.

Nice one, Jim. I really love these types of shots. This one says 'winter' to me, far more than a heavily cropped shot would have. :-)

Very good James, I found the two birdies but would not have known what they were. If you look at the snipe on the right and go down a wee bit, to 6 o clock, so to speak, is that another bird with its back to view, black with a white inderneath. You will need to enlarge the photo.

This bird has been in my garden all day and night even tho it’s a picture of the back of the bird do you have any ideas what bird this could be
