Hello to everyone, just joined today. I've been an RSPB member for ages and over the last couple of years have taken to bird photography, mostly in the garden. Love this new community, looking forward to sharing stories about our garden birds (although there are not too many about here at the moment!).
Paul.
Hi Paul
Welcome!
I saw your brilliant photo of the juvenile Starling earlier and am looking forward to many more as you're clearly very talented. All our birds have scarpered at the moment as well. It feels quite eerie after so much activity recently.
Enjoy the community :-)
Make the most of today because, unlike Sky+, there isn't a rewind button.
Hello Paul. I am also new and like you I do a lot of bird photography both in the garden and my yard. I find that is by far the easiest way as the only time they stay still long enough is when they are either at the feeding tables or waiting for me to add food to the feeding tables (at which point they are noisy and still!).
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
Hello Paul & welcome from another newbie!
I too love photography although I enjoy it in the field as well!
