Can anyone tell me how I know when someone replies to a question I posted about butterflies?
I get multiple 'noreply' email messages as do many people I see by reading the technical page. but I can't find any heading which tells if I had a reply, or any heading 'butterflies
isn't wild wonderful
Hi Min,
From my (very limited) understanding I think there are two places where you select whether to get emails, which would both need to be set to allow emails for you to get them:
Open your butterfly question, click on 'edit' (high up on the right hand side) and make sure the box is ticked where is says 'email me replies to this post', about half way down. Save changes.
Then go to your page and click 'edit profile'. Check that 'yes' is selected next to 'Receive notifications by email'. Save changes by clicking the button at the bottom.
If these are both ticked and you're still not getting notified then I think it's a technical problem. It seems there are still a few hitches - the site is very new so let's give the techno-nerds a bit of time and I'm sure they'll get it sorted!
Don't know if that's any help? I think so far it's only me that's replied to your post anyway, but there will be an expert among us who will find it soon and tell you what the alcoholic butterfly was up to.
Have a good day,
L.

Min, if you go to your 'My Page', you will find on the lower left the details of all your activity. Scroll down this until you find your Butterfly posting and click on it to check if there have been any replies. I used this method yesterday to locate an older posting of mine which was no longer showing anywhere else.
