Visit to Minsmere

I assume you mean apart from Minsmere itself? The chaps in Reception will point you in the right direction for wildlife around the reserve itself, but for other places locally to visit try:-
Hollesley & Boyton (RSPB)
Havergate Island (RSPB, have to book for that as it's an island & you need a boat)
Carlton Marshes (Suffolk Wildlife Trust)
Hazelwood Marshes (near Aldeburgh)
North Warren (RSPB, also near Aldeburgh)
Hen Reed Beds (SWT)
Snape Maltings - plenty of walks around the Maltings through reedbeds, along the river etc
Further afield (Felixstowe area), Trimley Marshes, Languard. North Norfolk coast isn't that far away either, Titchwell, Snettisham, Cley etc, depending how far from your holiday base you wish to travel
