Feather... its consternation me...

I've asked everyone I know please what bird is this?

    I am having a guess.
    If the bottom part of the feather is green, it may be worth you looking at the Woodland Trust's feather identification guide, to see if it matches their green woodpecker feather.

  • I agree with LJB and would also suggest the feather comes from a Green Woodpecker

    I've never come across that part of the Woodland Trust site before it looks interesting Going on that Green Woodpecker seems likely although I cannot remember ever finding their feathers on the ground
