To return to the Main community homepage - just click the RSPB logo/Community icon at the top left of the corner. This used to take you to the main RSPB page, but now will just take you straight back to the community home page :-)

Hi Click on use rich format for your reply and there is a quote button top right just above the blue bar.Took me a while to find it

When you wish to reply, uou can either do a quick reply by using the Reply button at the bottom of the thread, or you can press any other Reply button to reply to someone specifically, then if you press rich formatting, you get their text come up above the box you're about to type in, and you press Quote to insert their text

Hi Claire,
Yes, just press Rich Text and highlight the bits you want to quote, press quote, and that's it. It will work.

Hi Kat you are so right,I am one of those lost souls and you appeared like a angel with such a brilliant guide,so grateful think I would have give up on the forum although it seems such a big improvement if us that are not so good can get used to it and the personal message must be a great improvement.Thanks Kat.
