I clicked on the red cross, the photo appeared and when I went back to my posting, there it was. What happened?

Yes, that's exactly where it was. If I have to go out and then back in to the posting for each photo it will take hours. I think I will wait until tomorrow. Thanks for the advice.

I can see a photo MC.  The problem is that the forum is home to a number of rare gremlins and occasionally they get the urge to decorate and then they nick peoples photos at use as wallpaper

Red cross time again

Odd. Before I hit the 'Reply' I could only see the red cross. Once I hit 'Reply' and the posting loaded, the photo appeared. By the way, they are scrapping over some bread rather than mating!

I can see your photo,

The photo appears after I make the posting. While I am in the process of compiling the message, the photos do not appear in my dialogue box, only red crosses. I'll wait until tomorrow morning and try once again. I'll see if Baby R has any bright ideas :-)

I've got quite a few photos from the weekend to upload, so I'll wait until I am certain they will appear. It will be rather frustrating if some of them disappear into the ether again.

All you have to do when you see the red cross is right click on the cross and chose "show picture". it should then show for you.

The red cross often shows on my computer when it doesnt want to open up an emailed picture or application (as in the photo loader) but it normally works when clicked on.  I think it is an issue with security on the home computer rather than the RSPB server
