Anyone else having problems tonight?
Every other website I have tried is working super fast, as expected with my super fibre optic broadband, but tonight the RSPB forum is diabolical. It is taking 5 to 10 minutes to change pages. I have signed out and back again, cleared cookies, re-booted and so forth, but no change.
Now this post won't post!!
Cheers, Linda.

Hi Doggie, Yes, I tried Firefox, Chrome and IE8. There was no difference.

I use XP
That shouldn't be a problem then. I believe there are compatibility issues using Windows 7 on some sites. windows.microsoft.com/.../webpages-look-incorrect-in-Internet-Explorer
That's interesting Galatas, and describes more or less what was happening, but this is definitely XP and it only happened on those two evenings. Gremlins again.
For me it seems to work best on chrome but even that freezes up at times,I must say it varies greatly but being a dinosaur on IT I have no suggestions
EDIT it dropped out totally last night and is poor this morning

I'm finding the site very slow this morning. It can take up to 40 sec for page to load.

Yes, the site crashed completely about 10pm last night.
This morning it is snail pace and it makes no difference which browser I use.
Maurice the Techie has contacted me. They are aware of the problem and are sorting it.
That's good to know! Thanks Sparrow!
