Hi there
Sparrow you have another person with the same name as yourself
Name 'sparrow' wonder what is going on here {puzzled}
Regards
Kathy and Dave
Look in the Hello area John and see if they are there?
Just hope that is the first place they have gone too {hmm}
Just sent Waxwing2 an email thanks
Hi John

This is the link to their name and they still have the same name from what I can see
I think you are just going to have to watch their profile and see what they do
Great John. I can't see any reason why she doesn't agree, as surely she won't want a duplicated name. I visit the Wirral often as my sister lives there. We lived in Hoylake for five years.
I don't imagine for one minute there is anything sinister in this. I think it is simply there are so many new people joining at the moment - hundreds - and coincidentally chosing the same name as someone else.
Blackbird is sorted, which is good news.
It now leaves Sparrow and Waxwing. We have both written to Sparrow 2 and Waxwing 2, and hopefully it will be sorted, although I haven't had a reply as yet.
Cheers, Linda.

Wow its a small world as they say,I live in New Brighton,I'm writing a book at the moment about Birding on the Wirral.

Having read nearly all of today's posts I don't think there is anything sinister or deliberate. There seems to be an influx of people from one particular place - why I am not sure unless the RSPB have done a "push" in that direction.
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
Hi Sparrow
I think the fact we have 'chosen' avators does help ID from the newbies
That does help ID the original 'member' with associated new member namesake
How odd many of the new members are from the same place.
I am hoping this problem doesn't put people off from using the forum. That would be a shame.
We just need to keep an eye open for further duplications, and make sure we send a post about it.
Hi Squirrel
Yes, it could be true that there are a lot of members coming from one place
The weather has made many people housebound so they have time to use their PC's, and if they like birds all the better on the RSPB Forum
Could be a few reasons {still puzzled though}
