Hi, Does anyone know how to stop receiving emails about posts that you are no longer involved in?
I thought there would be a stop sending/receiving emails button but I couldn't see one. It's not that I'm no longer interested in the posts, it's just that my inbox gets pretty clogged up what with receiving four emails each time and I thought I would stop some of them and just catch up by looking at the forums page instead.
Ideas anybody?

Sarum Bat, I have said NO to all e-mails on my profile page and now, I don't receive any. I just look at the forums page.
Sarum Bat, there is a facility at the top of the page of the thread that you can click to stop receiving mails on that particular thread. Change the "email me the replies" to "stop emailing the replies". I think that works.

Hi Brenda, I suppose that includes comments on photos too which I do find useful. Maybe I can't have one without the other.
Hi Sparrow, Some threads do, this one for example but others say Post an Answer instead, Goose ID for example.

I totally agree, it is very annoying, and there is another thread about this subject that hasn't been answered satisfactorily by the technical team. I think they are as in the dark about it as we are. It looks to me as though the forums in the Advice Group are dealt with one way, and the others another. You can stop emails from the Tea Rooms.
I don't want to stop emails, just tedious repeats of them.
Is it just me, or have the emails reduced to 2 for your own postings, and just 1 for other peoples? I'm no longer getting 4 or more.
Yes, they have reduced in number. Hooray! Wonder how long it will last?
