A short database update will take place this afternoon at 15:00-16:00 pm. It is highly unlikely this will have any performance impact while running. The update will resolve issues with email failure in the job scheduler, and with some problems with photo uploads in certain versions of Firefox. If you do have any feedback or do experience any problems during this time, let us know on this thread and we will see if we can address them.
Many Thanks,

Why not check out the news from the wildlife enquiries team?
LOL The above is what I got after 4 tries of downloading from Flickr using the URL from the Grab a link on Flickr.
Cheers, Linda.
See my photos on Flickr
Thanks Doggie, that worked!
Yes, I was putting it through the url tab!! It was the link that Flickr gave me that didn't work, but doing it the way you said about right clicking the photo worked.
Flickr is a bit peculiar. Like you Sparrow I tried the Grab a link but that didn't work. I thrashed around and found a link to the actual photo and used the URL box and that worked. Trouble was I then couldn't remember how I'd done it. Thanks Alan for setting it out. Hopefully, I'll remember how to do it next time.
One oddity I've noticed is that if I click on my own picture to enlarge it, it asks me what program I want to use to open it. It doesn't seem to apply when you click on someone elses photo posted from Flickr. Have you found that?

Hi TJ,
I can click normally on any photo to enlarge it - APART FROM YOURS!!!!!
I get the "do you want to open or save it" windows box.

Right I'll try another one.
I've used Alan's method. Does that work?
What's with the SHOUTING. LOL
Yes TJ. That works. Oooops, sorry, didn't mean to shout! LOL
Yippee. Don't know what I did with the first one. Good old Alan.
A very old Shropshire Lad.
It must be something to do with rich formatting for me as the above was just a bit of text and as you see "snowy owl in a snowstorm"
Im sure all the RSPB whizz kids are doing their best to get us up and running as we were the day before yesterday :-)
