which he left in a Security Company here in Ghana.

He further told me that he deposited the money in my name and also gave me all the necessary information and the legal documents regarding to this deposit with the Security Company. I am just 19 years old and a university undergraduate and really don't know what to do at this time.

What i need you to do for me is to accept me as i am and help me out to claim this deposit from this company, i have been there on several occasion but they told that they had an agreement with my father.

I want you to come down here so that you will be very sure of what you are doing and after the transaction, i will return back with you to your country for a better future.

This is because i have suffered a lot of set backs as a result of incessant university undergraduate and really dont know what to do.

Here in Ghana. The death of my father actually brought sorrow to my life. I also want to invest the fund under

your care because i am ignorant of business world. I am in a sincere desire of your humble assistance in this regards. Your suggestion and ideas will

be highly regarded. Now permit me to ask these few questions:

Blimey Cirrus - I get several every day like that! My spam filter removes them.

The reason I posted a screenshot of the actual spam email was so's others might remark on any variation in the text.  Are the emails personalised in any way? If so, that might indicate that not just email addresses had been scooped up.  If the emails are identical I wouldn't feel particularly vulnerable, having been around the www for rather a long time ;-)

I wonder if the site freeze-ups we suffered a few weeks ago could have been a symptom of "interference" of some kind?

I'm certainly glad I don't  Sparrow. It is unsettling knowing very bad people are wanting to grab one's id and etc just to get over here, or worse.

CIRRUS  I too get very occasional emails like that.  Many years ago I also received them at work or on the bosses computer.  On one occasion I sent copies to the Fraud Office, which I believe at the time we were encouraged to do, but heard nothing.  I just delete the very few that get thru the system.
