That is the thing I do not understand - I am either fired out of here into some RSPB red/yellow error text which makes no sense to me, or I am timed out of here if the post is not accepted after a few minutes of time.

I added the post for here onto Word, and after one failed attempt to post.. and a copy and paste from Word did the trick, I managed to get the post on here.

To me it is a nightmare at the moment... what am I doing wrong?

Perhaps it would be better if you forget Word and just type in the Rich Formatting reply box and use the spell check if necessary?

I never type in Word first, so I never have have a problem.

Thank you for your thoughts.

I have mulled over issues here, and Dave has mentioned he is noticing a slowness when we use our broadband.  The PC is sluggish in the areas of the websites that he uses...so it is a general problem we have going on here

So a phone call to BT, and an engineer who tweeked our Broadband last night, and voila the speed of the RSPB a lot more faster.  It is easier to post now - no half posted posts anymore LOL.

Yipee at last - BT is ringing me up at mid-day to check issues here, and I am happy to have our speedy broadband once more

Glad you got it sorted Blackbird and hope you get the voicemail problem sorted,it sounds a nice idea to me.

Yes, the mad posting has died at last..here!

I feel that the voicemail is a nice 'memory' to keep, and I want to make it happen that way.  More unusual but worth it for keepsake.
