***RSPB moderator edit - difficult to describe from a non-technical point of view but the way the new 'product' is set up, your suggestion of having the forums all on the top bar isn't possible. However we are looking at what is achieveable with the new product and may be able to make some changes to the blue bar to make things easier to navigate. I have passed your suggestion on.***
For advice about Birding, Identification,field guides, binoculars, scopes, tripods, etc - put 'Birding Tips' into the search box
still having problems nominating posts as the correct answer on some threads.
Also- is the fact that I am now friends with someone visible to all or just to me?

I went back through my previous posts to a mystery photo thread I started 13 days ago- to add a summary and answer - BUT everytime I try to access it the page de-faults back to todays 'latest posts'

Sorry - another problem or two!
If I go into my profile page and then my gallery and then click on one of my photos there is no way back to my gallery other than using the back button. Instead I have the option of home and photos - neither takes me where I want to be! So, from there I have to go back to my profile page, back into my gallery and then click on another photo.
Also, if I want to go to the page with the latest posts (unanswered/unread) etc I have to click on the RSPB logo but there is no instruction anywhere that tells you to do this. I found it by trial and error! It would be useful to give that instruction shown somewhere.

Further to the above (as I don't seem to be able to edit it) in "my personal gallery" the two tabs "home" and "photos" referrred to in the first paragraph imply that they will take me to my own photos (they don't, they take me to the general galleries page) and home, which do show unanswered/unread but iI get this message "There are no posts to show". Thisis why I have to click in the RSPB logo to get back to the main page.
Sorry that all sounds rather muddled!

Further to this problem, on the My Gallery page there is a Tab marked Manage Gallery, and although I have tried Upload File, it doesn't currently appear to be working. I added a photo via Manage Gallery and I don't know where it went but it isn't in My Gallery. I'm not sure if the Manage Gallery is fully operational, but an Edit photos option should be added
