When we have read the posts we will try to add a quick edit message to acknowledge that the fault has been logged which basically means that the guys behind the scenes are on it and looking for a way to fix it!

The signature on my profile page shows 'Best wishes, Chris' in Bold font, but I see that when it appears after my posts and threads it's now in normal font. What has caused this to change?
Best wishes Chris

I definately feel that the layout is v stilted, it just doesn't flow as smoothly. Nothing like as easy to use as before, which seems counter productive :-(
I like the fact that I can PM folk on my friends list + still not give email address away enless I really want too.
No smilies or birdies is a shame. But I know many prefere not to have them.
I personally reckon the style should be more a kin to the Bird Forum as previously posted by someone, which seems to be a common format of many forums. At least the 1 / 2 I use + from what I know about all the ones DH uses.
The thing that might save it for me is a tab to a long list of all the 'latest posts'. Happy to have news from groups + blogs added as I never quite got round to checking them, not sure folk need to know if I edit my profile though.
Currently the problem for me is its all higgildy piggildy.

Excuse wobbily dyslexic spelling!
I wish to report a problem on this thread. Seriously.
I have just posted a post, but the second I pressed reply, I got this message:
"The post you requested cannot be found or no longer exists. The administrator or moderator may have deleted the post. "
Cheers, Linda.

I shall try again with the post I tried to post.
I believe it would help with the overall layout if all the forums in "Homes for Wildlife" could be moved from the "Get Involved" section to the "Wildlife" section. It is nonsensical to have them in the Get Involved section - most of us regard this as meaning get involved with the RSPB, such as volunteering etc. We would then only have 2 places to look for our forums, and not 3.
I don't think this has been mentioned here. I find it very useful to check for new posts to threads I have contributed to, via e mails on my mobile phone. In this way I can quickly see the activity on threads I am interested in. Now I am not getting these E mails. Is this a bug, or do I need to set something up to get e mails?
There are 9000 species of bird on earth. Let's keep it that way.
I agree with Sparrow- sadly it's probably ( for some of us) evidence that the RSPB has shifted emphasis from a bird orientation to a wider wildlife / family focus. I noticed a post for Top Lodge asking for helpers to show visitors around / identify wildlife etc but that they didnt need to be experts- could be why I consistently argue with volunteer helpers at RSPB reserves- ( fortunately very seldomly at my beloved Titchwell . )

For advice about Birding, Identification, field guides, binoculars, scopes, tripods, etc - put 'Birding Tips' into the search box
Had to reply to this as 'edit' is still not working- IMHO if a person can't ID Ringed plover from Little Ringed Plover they shouldnt be showing the public how to ID waders on an RSPB reserve
:)
end of rant :)
