Ladies and Gentlemen (and anything inbetween)
We have many posts with issues post upgrade, can we use this thread to collect them, more chance of getting things changed.
My biggest gripe, is the default resolution, the css frame is too large for the content (although very pretty)
Temp work around use the view function of your browser ( crtl and + will work on most desktop/laptops).
Mobile devices have their own way (usually a pinch on the touch screen).
It's both what you do and the way that you do it!
You cannot fly like an eagle with the wings of a wren. William Henry Hudson (1841 - 1922)
I think the navigation is the most confusing aspect, I thought the new look forum would run along the same lines as most forums on the net where all the catogories are in one place, click on a catagory and it takes you to the posts,
Good Eggs to be shown and post count also, that way we know when to welcome people with one or two posts. avatar sizes (sorry if this stuff has already been said)

Design over content is a concern, so I totally agree with mpiekp on this one.
Biggest problem for me is what H has posted above, the navigation (Badly thought out and badly executed). The whole forum is now a pain to navigate.
This new forum is dreadful.
When you choose Most Recent posts in any of the Forums, why are they in a random order rather than being in date order? Even if I click on the triangle next to the date I can't get them to go in date order. I just replied to someone on one of my threads and it was below posts that were posted yesterday, some from March and one that was from August 2009. It's illogical
Best wishes Chris

This did work when I tried it, but on several pages it overwrote other functions

It's because stickies and announcements always appear on the top of the list, this is fine in normal forums which display 20+ threads on a page but not here where so few threads are displayed. Saying that even on normal forums stickies and announcements can clog up half a page! If you go to unread messages and "read" all the stickies and announcements it makes them all go away :-)

Hi
On the Osprey forum page the links to the details about the individual birds by name/ring number are not working - please can they be reinstated. Thanks. AG
I'm still finding my way around at the minute but my immediate gripe is the signatures, I find I can't discern them from the actual post that clearly. Is there a way we can either colour them or stylise them so they don't appear to look like the actual post above.
My other groan is as nice as it is that people are making friends on here, do we all need to know about it and when someone posts something to their gallieries or changes their avatar do we all need to know about that too - sorry this sounds a bit like bad manners it isn't meant to be at all.
Regards
Kerry

I've deleted my signature because like you Kerry they are hard separate from the post itself.

Just found another peculiar thing.
Why is the Photography forum buried with all the wildlife forums, from gardening to questions?
And why are the galleries buried under "Get Involved/Love Nature?"
