Multiple Notifications of the samemessage

I continue to receive multiple notifications of the SAME message . 8 and 10 notifications of the same message are not uncommon. Yrch !!!

I am still getting 4 emails for each thread I have posted to. They all arrive together. If I uncheck the box at the bottom that says "email me replies to this post" I don't get any at all, and am then likely to miss the rest of the thread.
