Trying to register, I am told I have already done so, but I have never before filled in the form which includes nicknames etc. So how do I get past this? And how do I contribute to the Big Birdwatch posts about timing?

Hi Amanda
As you are clearly registered you should be able to modify your details by clicking on "My page" at the top of the screen. There you will find "Edit profile" which allows you to amend certain details like your username, avatar etc.
You will also see that one of your groups is the Big Garden Birdwatch so by clicking on that you can add or reply to posts on those threads.

We can currently see that your 'nickname' is Amanda Royde-Smith, so you might have entered your full name in the nickname box.
You can Edit this by clicking on the My page tab in the black bar along the top of the screen, and then changing your profile.
