Most Active User List Help please

I realise this is not important, but I just find it weird that since joining in May 2009 I have never, ever appeared on the Most Active User list.

I asked about this once and members told me it depends on what times of the day you post. I don't think this would apply in this case.

For example, yesterday I posted 20+ times and today I have posted 40+ times.

Has anyone any ideas? I am getting paranoid. Please keep it polite LOL

    do you post in groups etc or just the community forum. I don't really know how it works but I only post on the forums so do sometimes appear on the list. Not sure this helps

    Hi goldcrest i have just noticed i am at the top of a list on the right hand side, i hope this dosent mean i talk to muchAlan

    i say always look on the bright side of life, as you cannot see anything on the other ?

    Yes, I tend to just post on the community forum. Occasionally on the Gardening for wildlife forum but not recently.

    I have noticed that the change over time is in the evening not at midnight.

    I have posted a lot late in the evening and then find myself up there in the table the next morning.

    Ihave noticed this also but I'm not that bothered as I never wanted my name up in lights anyway,people may think that I have nothing better to do,they may be right as the forum can be quite adictive.

    I don't know what conditions apply for the most active user list, nor how useful or accurate it is, but you could always contact support and ask them the answer to your question. :-)

    From what you say, it seems like it might be averaged out.

    I have never counted how many times a day I post.

    Thanks everyone for your replies. Perhaps a mod. will be able to explain it.

     I have only counted the number of posts in the last two days as an example, normally I never count my posts either. As I say I have been a member since May 2009 so i think it must be something to do with my registration or something.

    I have seen every other active members name on the list at some time or other. (everyone who has answered this post has been on the list for example). It just seems weird that in nearly two years of quite active membership my nickname has never appeared.

    It is not because I want my name in lights, we are anonymous anyway, it is just curiosity.
