something deleting comments on some forums

    Seems the person who posted a photo of a dunnock, insisted it wasn't after seymour and others said it was, and then requested their account be deleted.....has successfully got both that thread and their account deleted (as well as Robbo prior to that). Would have been simpler just to contact the county recorder, got the official 'identification' and accepted they were wrong surely?

    Oh that's definitely the guilty party then..shocking treatment of Robbo!! Surely the nice Mod shall reassess its poor error of judgement and reinstate Robbo and his history!
    It was a Dunnock by the way lol

    It would mean someone admitting they made a mistake. Rarely happens these days. I remember WJ said on the post about deleting accounts, that it was better to leave the posts there. I agree with that. The dunnock post should have been left incase anyone else ever wanted to add to it. Also, evidence has gone and so has someone's mistake.

    Don’t worry. I wouldn’t of minded that you suspected it even though  I thought  it wasn’t a moderator cause of what you said about moderation. I said I didn’t think it was a Moderator at the time cause of the message you said that people usually get from moderators and that you usually wouldn’t be able to see there messages. But cause I’m not familiar with moderation I wasn’t sure weather it might be or not and things still didn’t quiet add up yet. I didn’t want to say yes I defanatky think it might be a moderator or no I defiantly don’t think it might be a moderator. we could see his messages until they were deleated if in reply to him. or in my case if they were also on the same forum as him aswell even if not in reply to him a few times. When his comments completely disappeared on all the other forums he commented on. And after finding out the person who made the dunnock forum wanted to deleate there account and what Bobs retired Said and what its a dummock and the others said I started to suspect it might be a moderator as well as haveing to do with someome wanting to deleate there account aswell. His account is deleated entirely now. And you can tell cause You can’t find his name in the search box and by a page saying error If you click on his name in email notifications.

    Is there a thread that officially states that was the case? If so can you give the name of it or link to it please?

    Almost all of what I typed above, Bob, was in that thread I requested be restored. The link is on there. Hopefully, it will be restored so you can then see it all stated. I doubt anyone will know how to restore it though…..

    It’s a dunnock is right almost all of what she said was in the thread. But it’s easyer to navigate the pages on I pad rather than by phone cause on I pad it has numbers you can jump to and on the i phone it just has next. The link is on page 1

    Seymour’s message is at the top Eccydj is at the bottom the rest got deleated except the comments me and Linda made. Those ones weren’t in reply to her but hers to Robbo and me to her. so it looked like she as talking to herself when his comments got deleated on that forum.
