As you may be aware our website and community will be getting a hardware upgrade, this means significant improvement to the performance of the site, as part of our commitment to improve the quality of the community. This is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 14 December. The community will experience some down time from 6 am until lunchtime. We hope that this will go ahead without any technical difficulties, so fingers crossed we will have a faster and much improved place to talk about nature and wildlife. Sorry for any inconvenience caused and thank you all your positivity.

HI KatTai and Tiger, the site was down earlier this morning, with an apology on screen.

Thank you Tom. The posts do seem to be displaying more quickly. I don't want to be too critical but the galleries still seem to be taking an age to load. I don't think I shall be using them.
