Hi everyone
I know I'm a bit dim when it comes to technical things but I see on some threads that it says ' Best answer chosen by .........' How do you do this? I can't see anything to click on. Some one please point me in the right direction.
Thanks CJ
Hi CJ
Blind leading the blind here, but I think the post must be a question (i.e in the Advice forum) and the answers to the original question have the 'answer' button next to them.
I think!!!

Hi,
on those threads that are posted as a question the QUESTIONER gets an option to tick that box :)

Yeah, wot Seymour says xxxx
Thanks Seymour - obvious really! Told you I was dim with things like that...
Love CJ
it took me a while to notice that some forums DON'T have the option because they aren't query forums :)

I think that the 'Best answer' is there for the people to use as an extra if they want to use it.
I agree Seymour that most forums do not have the option - in this case there is a wealth of information so people want to ask lots of questions as part of the experience of knowing about wildlife.
There is no right or wrong way of using it at all!
I think it is nice for a person to choose the best answer form another member if they deemed to do so and there is an opportunity to choose more than one person too
Answering oneself is slightly odd to me and goes without saying.
